We tried the new conveyor belt sushi restaurant Supra in Linden NJ. Due to the setup of the restaurant, the only option is "All You Can Eat. " The menu had a lot to offer. You review the menu and place your order on a tablet (one per table). Every five minuets you are able to order five items. Don't worry if you are hungry before then, you can grab a plate from the bottom conveyor belt. There are two conveyor belts, the bottom one rotates around the restaurant with random food. The top one brings your order directly to your table and waits for you to remove it.
This setup encourages you to try new foods. Several rolls looked great, but I wouldn't have ordered them on my own. Eat until your full, don't take extra food because it can't be placed back on the belt and there is a charge for large amounts of left over food.
While the food was great quality food. I don't have any complaints regarding the food. I was disappointed, I had first learned about AI sushi restaurants from an episode of X- files. Season 11 episode 7 titled "Rm9sbG93ZXJz" Mulder and Skully visit a robot operated sishi restaurant. There visit had been a lot more exciting. Let's say I was looking for more interaction with a robot staff.
