Restaurant -Sushi Ichiban

Exactly one year after creating this blog I'm writing my first article. Life has been busy the last year with home ownership and health issues, but I'm looking forward to blogging again. I recently returned from a trip to Las Vegas and visited my favorite sushi restaurant while I was in town. This is coincidentally the same restaurant where I came up with the name for this blog.

Sushi Ichiban is located across the street from El Cortez in the Freemont section of Las Vegas. They are affiliated with El Cortez and club members can use their players card there. When you see the inflatable geisha you will know you are at the right place.  Aside from all you can eat, there is also an option to purchase a la carte, but why would you want to? The all you can eat package starts at $29.99 for lunch and $34.99 for dinner.

The menu includes appetizers, nigiri, cut rolls, special rolls, baked rolls, deep fried rolls and dessert. There are certain items that are restricted, you can only order one per person. The reason I like this restaurant so much is because of the quality and taste of the food. I have enjoyed every item that I've ordered. I also appreciate the names of the specialty rolls, they are creative and funny. They are a conversation piece in themselves. If you're not sure what to get it's okay to judge a roll by it's name.

Golden Knight hockey fans can try the Golden Knight Roll made with peanut butter, soft shell crab, onion crunch and topped with spicy ponzu and yum sauce.
